Before finalizing the plan, a series of meetings were held besides Maha Gram Sabhas were also conducted to formulate a comprehensive plan of ABDP and today the plan was finalized after a threadbare discussion.

Upgradation of health infrastructure, LT- HT network, separate toilets blocks for girls, development of infrastructure with availability of equipment for Sheep/ Animal Husbandry and other important sectors were incorporated in the plan of ABDP.

It was given out that the ABDP has been rolled out with an aim to ensure expeditious improvement in the socio-economic status of these aspirational blocks and the programme is aimed at achieving holistic development of the blocks selected as Aspirational Blocks.

Meanwhile, D.K.Marg and Manzgam have been selected as Aspirational Blocks based on their socio-economic backwardness on different parameters/ indicators.
