SSP Kupwara , SP Handwara Flags Off Bharat Darshan tour-2022

As a part of Civic Action Programme of J&K Police, students of District Kupwara were flagged off for week long Bharat Darshan Tour-2022 jointly by SSP Kupwara Yougal Manhas and SP Handwara Sheema Nabi Qasba. The tour program organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police facilitates all boarding and lodging facilities, besides to & fro air tickets and logistic support.

An impressive flag-off ceremony was organized at DPL Kupwara in which SSP Kupwara , SP Handwara , Commandant 162 Bn CRPF , DySP DAR Kupwara and other senior officers of J&K Police participated and interacted with the students shortlisted for the Bharat Darshan tour.

SSP Kupwara while interacting with selected youth belonging to different parts of district Kupwara said that Bharat Darshan tour is primarily aimed at providing opportunity to the youth of the district to understand the idea of
” Unity in Diversity “and advised them to avail the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places and marvels of the country. He further said that it is endeavour of J&K police to expose our youth to different cultures, historical places and various other places of significance. He advised the touring students to imbibe the concept of cohesion binding our country and to take full advantage of the opportunity cherish these memories through out life.

The students are scheduled to visit metropolitan cities like Delhi and Chennai and have a first hand feel of different historical sites, monuments and parks. Keeping in view the comfort of these students AC Hotels and AC coaches will be provided to the touring students for accommodation and sightseeing. The group will be assisted by Caretakers from JKP who would be highlighting the significance of the spots and their importance to make the trip more fruitful.

Parents and touring students applauded the efforts made by Jammu and Kashmir Police for such an initiative taken and thanked Kupwara Police for providing them an opportunity to discover the vastness of this great country.
