Ten teachers were suspended in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district after failing to join their new place of postings that were assigned to them by the Education Department.
An order copy lying with the news agency reads, “As reported by Zonal Education Officer Kralpora vide No. ZEO/K/489 Dated: 17.05.2022, the below mentioned teaching officials have failed to report their actual place of postings till date despite various reminders time and again given to them by the Zonal Education Officer concerned.
“Now in view of the non-compliance of orders, non-seriousness/sheer negligence” shown by them towards their legitimate duties and as recommended by Zonal Education Officer concerned, the below mentioned teaching officials are hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect and are attached to their actual place of postings,” reads the order.
The suspended teachers were identified as Shameema Bano presently working Drugumulla zone actual place of posting GMS Keran, Bibi Mehoona presently working Kupwara Zone actual place of posting PS raited Keran, Koser Parveen presently working Drugumulla zone actual place of posting PS raited Keran , Tasleema Akhter presently working Trehgam zone actual place of posting PS banni Keran , Mohd Iqbal shah presently working HS dardun actual place of posting PS Bore Keran, Aeyjaz Ahmad mir presently working UPS Darnard actual place of posting UPS Kalas, Sajad Ahmad Wani presently working BMS Shuloora actual place of posting UPS Patroo , Haleema Bano presently working UPS Shuloora Balo actual place of posting UPS Wandaji Budnumbal , Asif Ali presently working UPS Tumina actual place of posting UPS Budnumbal and last one identified as Muhmmad Yousaf Wani UPS Tangwari actual place of posting UPS Boindab, the order added.
