Under the “Khelo India Youth Games 2022”, First time in the history of Tulail Valley Indian Army organized Summer Sports Festival-2022 in village Badugam, Tulail Valley (J&K) wef 03 to11 May 2022 in collaboration with District administration, Bandipora. An overwhelming strength of 793 children from various schools of Tulail valley participated with zeal and enthusiasm in the Sports Festival.
The Event was conducted with an aim to promote sports, encourage sportsmanship and integrate the youth from all walks of life from remote Gurez/Tulail Valley with Nation’s Mainstream. The nine day festival organized at Badugam Sports Ground comprised of Ten games, including athletic events too.
“Niru Cup” was awarded to Village Malangam for winning Inter-Volleyball Tournament. Total of 15 villages paricipated in the Volleyball Tournament. 27 matches were played, after which Malangam village won the much deserved “Niru Cup”.
The Sports Festival culminated on 11 May 2022. During the prize distribution ceremony 351 out of 793 youth of Tulail Valley were awarded with Trophies, Medals and certificates for their outstanding performance in various games like Kabaddi, Kho-Kho,Tug of War, Volleyball, Badminton and athletic events. Prize distribution was conducted in the presence of
