Lieutenant Governor of J&K Shri Manoj Sinha released two books of eminent poet and famed literary personality of Jammu & Kashmir Satish Vimal today at Rajbhavan in Srinagar. These two books of poetry in Hindi included an anthology of selected Hindi poems written during the past three decades edited and compiled by Satish Vimal entitled ‘Dehshat Mein Kavita’. This anthology is the reflection of literary resistance to the communal hatred, violence and bloodshed in J&K for the past three decades. Lt Governor also released the second edition of Vimal’s bestseller Hindi Poetry Collection ‘Khoye Huye Prishth’. This poetry collection got translated into six Indian languages within a year after its first publication. It has recently been translated into Persian too. Shri Manoj Sinha congratulated Satish Vimal for his literary contribution and greeted him for being acknowledged across the languages in India & beyond through multiple translations of his Hindi, Kashmiri & Urdu writings in different genres. Lt Governor wished good luck to Vimal for his more productive literary future.
