SRINAGAR, APRIL 10: Following the cleanliness drive of Dal lake under the name ATHWAAS kick started by Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha on April 09, SP college students also got inspired and took part in cleaning and deweeding of Dal Lake, today.
The deweeding drive was started by Vice Chancellor Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Shakil Romshoo in which 21 students of SP College also too part.
On the occasion, Romshoo said that it is the duty of all the people to come forward and help in cleaning of Dal lake and added that with the active participation of people the Dal Lake can be restored to its past glory.
He appreciated students for showing their determination in the cleaning activity of Lake and appealed to other students and youth to come forward and play their role in the mission of deweeding Dal.
