Just like every year, 07 April is celebrated across the World to mark the anniversary of founding of World Health Organisation (WHO). Due to the pandemic, increase in pollution and diseases like cancer, asthma, heart diseases, WHO has decided ‘Our Planet, Our Health’ as the theme for this year. COVID has taught the world about the urgency of creating sustainable well-being societies committed to achieving equitable health now and for future generations without breaching ecological limits.

Even the students of Kupwara celebrated the day with full zeal and enthusiasm. On this day, students of Hajipir Army Goodwill School gave speech and enlightened other students about the ill effects of pandemic on everyone and also gave out the harms of deforestation and its effect on future generations. They also highlighted the drug menace and urged others to avoid such ill effects and asked them to take pledge in this Ramadan month to work towards improving our health and to move ahead in making this earth a better planet.
