DC Budgam inspects ongoing Drainage work at Bemina-Khomeni Chowk  Instructs for completion of project on war-footing basis

BUDGAM, MARCH 22: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today visited Bemina to take on spot review of the pace and progress of ongoing Construction of Drainage on Bemina-Khomeni Chowk road.

The DC was accompanied by S.E SMC, Ex. Engineer R&B Budgam, Dy. SP Rural Traffic Budgam, A.EE, J.E and concerned Contractor.

During the visit, the DC instructed all concerned that work on construction of Drainage is taken in double shifts and ensure that the project is completed by the end of April 2022, on a war footing basis from DharKhul to GariKadal.

The construction of Drainage is going on a road length of 1.75 Km with an allotted cost of 11.57 Crore.

The inspection was carried out in wake of congestion of Traffic jams occurring on I.G Road Humhama due to diversion of traffic from Khomeni Chowk to Budgam-Humhama.
