*President of ACA & SKLCWS Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera visits historical heaven khampur Sarai*

Today on 14-3-2022, The President of ACA & SKLCWS Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera had an important visit to khampur Sarai which is located in central Kashmir’s chadoora, budgam district. Khampur sarai was ever made by imperial and majestic mughal empire’s prestigious ruler empire Jehangir during his reign. The Sarais served the rulers as well as forces for long time. Due to lacking focus of later administrations the locals living around it encroached the land of the Sarais and vandalised them. It is said the khampur Sarai consist of Seven Sarais among which one is renovated to restore it’s past bliss and unfortunately have neglected others which too are pitching for restoration. With an attempt to explore them and highlight them to the general masses Mr.Tariq Ahmat Shera visited there, demands government to restore these Sarais, make efforts to make it the tourist destination and also has sought a road connectivity to it. He mentioned the miseries which he had faced while going to this historical place which holds a great importance to large extent.
