Srinagar 24 Feb 2022: Jammu and Kashmir Awami Aawaz Party has expressed deep disgust and anguish over the self immolation attempt of youth during anti encroachment drive at Ganderbal.
JK Awami Aawaz Party Chairman Suhail Ahmad Khan lambasted the administration for first giving permission for constructing illegally and then not able to handle the things while carrying out the demolition drives.
He questioned who gives permission for constructing illegal constructions on pristine natural and environmental sensitive lands ,urging that if administration follows rules we would never reach this ugly situation.
Syed Irfan Hashmi General Secretary Awami Aawaz Party while expressing deep sympathy with the victim and his family, called upon the administration especially the Municipal Department and Irrigation and Flood Control Department not to give permission for constructing illegal structures ,which in long run create havoc for one and all.
JK Awami Aawaz Party hoped that this sad episode will serve a lesson for administration and tough rules would be formulated for constructions and no permission granted for illegal constructions .
JK Awami Aawaz Party prayed for the speedy recovery of the youth .
