Reviews public delivery system; Asks officials to work with added zeal
RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 21: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today conducted a surprise inspection of Government offices of Sunderbani subdivision to check attendance of the staff and delivery of services to the general public.
Institutions inspected by the Deputy Commissioner during his surprise visit today included the office of the Tehsildar, Tehsil supply office and Tehsil treasury office.
The Deputy Commissioner checked the attendance of the employees and the records of the offices and found everything satisfactory.
On being apprised that some office buildings are in a dilapidated condition which creates a lot of inconvenience while maintaining and keeping the records in them, the DC assured that effective measures will be taken in this regard.
He stressed upon the officers and officials to work in a coordinated manner to enhance their productivity so that the benefit of the welfare schemes percolate down to the grassroots level. He further asked to ensure quality disposal of public grievances.
The DC said that the aim of undertaking such surprise visits is to ensure that the Govt institutions run properly and also to review the backlog so that the general public doesn’t face any inconvenience.
