IN continuation to J&K police war on Drugs offensive to contain the spread of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances
Mendhar police arrested two drug peddlers namely Rajat Sharma s/o Chaman Lal Sharma R/o Gohlad Mendhar and Rameez Ahmed S/o Mohd. Aziz R/o Ari Mendhar and recovered 26 grams of Heroine like substance from them.
On this a case FIR No. 30/2022 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered at PS Mendhar and investigation started.
The Recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO Mendhar Dysp Sheezan Bhat (JKPS) assisted by Sho mendhar Insp.Manzoor Kohli and PSi Prince Jasrotia.
Public of the area appreciated the role of District Police Poonch who under the overall supervision of SSP Poonch, Sh. Rohit Baskotra (JKPS) launch a war to eradicate the menace of drugs and narcotics in distt. poonch which is spoiling the life of young generation.
