February 15: As a public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was facilitated by Awantipora Police at Police Post Reshipora. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
On the directions of SSP Awantipora Shri Mohd Yousuf-JKPS, the meeting was chaired by SDPO Awantipora and was attended by respectable citizens of the area.
During the meeting, participants raised various issues of public importance including drug menace, dumping of construction material on roads and other several issues. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concerned authorities for their early redressal. The chairing officer also sought their cooperation in maintaining peace & stability in the area.
The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police and Administration in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
