Srinagar. 09 Dec 21. The staff and students of Army Goodwill Public School, Pehalgam, held a Prayer Meet wherein they observed two minutes of silence in the memory of the Late Chief of Defence Staff. On 25 may 2018, General Bipin Rawat, then Chief of Army Staff, inaugurated the Digital Education Initiative at Army Goodwill Public School, Pahalgam. The teachers and students who were present at the time have fond memories of the Late General.
The General will always be remembered for his leadership and progressive ideas.
He had emphasised on incorporation of digital learning in schools to facilitate and spread the sharing of knowledge and ideas. He had great regard for education and considered Army Goodwill Schools as the backbone of Kashmiri progress.
