Get us relief from frequent traffic jams, equip DH with adequate consultant, specialists & staff, develop sports infra: AP Leader Mohammad Amin demands
Ganderbal, Oct 17: The senior Socio-Political leader and the District Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, Mohammad Amin Shah today called upon the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha during his visit to Ganderbal.
Mohammad Amin Shah who was leading the JKAP delegation at Conference Hall, mini Secretariat Ganderbal, apprised LG about the problems and miseries people of the district are facing due to the narrow, congested and overcrowded town roads. He appealed LG to sanction the alternate bypass road already demarcated by the administration. Shah said the road passing behind the District Hospital to connect Duderhama chowk with Bus stand Adjacent to SSP office will provide best relief and will also ensure free and fast access to the district hospital and city referral.
Mohammad Amin Shah apprised LG about the problems and disappointment of the parties including DDC candidates, transporters, stationary suppliers and media fraternity for providing videography and other services to help safe and successful conduct of the DDC elections but are yet to be paid for their hardwork. Shah said its unfortunate that all the districts except Ganderbal made payments in due course of time, but in Ganderbal the funds are lying in the account of DC since March, but payments to the deserving parties are not made till date. Shah requested LG for his kind intervention and hoped that the payments would be released soon.
Shah also highlighted the need of upgradation of medical staff and equipment in Ganderbal. He said Ganderbal is in dire need of the specialised Medical consultants, CT Scan and MRI installation in the District Hospital.
Shah also demanded upgraded sports infrastructure in the district and an indoor stadium within the town to boost and nourish youth sports talents.
Shah also desired Manasbal to be boosted as a water sports hub which will boost tourism and pave way to international water sports events.
Mohammad Amin Shah also requested LG to empower MCG for the Illumination, decoration and hygiene of the town.
Shah said LG along with DC Ganderbal and other dignitaries gave him a patient hearing and ensured that all the demands put forth by jim are worth to be worked upon.
Meanwhile Shah while praising the honest and dedicated administrative command of the Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal said that Ganderbal admin has ensured transparency and accountability in the system and people are now happy and relieved.
Shah thanked LG for his kind and favourable gesture and for his kind concern of the development and welfare of district Ganderbal.
