1893 works to be completed under DCB
GANDERBAL, AUGUST 21: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna today reviewed the progress of works proposed under District Capex Budget (DCB) 2021-22.
The meeting discussed detailed proposals under the District Capex Plan, 2021-22 including physical status of projects targeted for completion in the current fiscal and took a comprehensive review on the progress of developmental projects undertaken by various departments.
The DC sought details from the heads of departments including Rural Development department, Health, JKPDCL, R&B, Jal Shakti and other sectors about the approved works, tendering status and progress of ongoing projects/works.
The meeting was informed that under District Capex1893 works are approved which include 1851 works of PRI grants, 36 works of District Sector and 6 works of NABARD.
While reviewing the progress on framing of estimations, the CPO informed the meetings that 1000 estimates are framed and all such works are also authorized besides tenders are also floated for most of the works.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that district administration is committed to ensure all development projects/works are completed within a set timeline. She stressed on the concerned officers/officials to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of the ongoing works for their time-bound completion and directed for regular monitoring of works.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, CMO, CEO, Executive Engineers of various wings and other concerned.
