During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various sections and wards of the hospital and took stock of the functioning of healthcare services, availability of facilities and arrangements for patients.

He also interacted with patients to enquire about the healthcare services being provided to them and their overall experience at the hospital.

He stressed the need to ensure quality healthcare services, efficient utilisation of available human resources and prompt attention to the needs and grievances of patients.

In view of the onset of winter, the Deputy Commissioner directed the hospital administration to ensure adequate heating arrangements in wards and other patient-care areas so that patients do not face any inconvenience during the cold weather.

He emphasised that all necessary measures must be taken to ensure the smooth functioning of hospital services and provide accessible, responsive and quality healthcare to the public. (JKNS)
