“Police Solve Five Theft Cases, Public Cooperation Key to Success”: SSP Baramulla

Srinagar, Oct 10 (JKNS): Baramulla Police have solved five theft cases in Pattan and Kreeri, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gurinder Pal Singh said on Saturday, while highlighting the importance of public cooperation in maintaining law and order.

Addressing a press conference in Pattan, as per news agency JKNS, SSP Gurinder said three theft cases had been solved in Pattan and two in Kreeri, highlighting the efforts of police personnel in addressing crime in the district.

 

He also urged residents to approach police officials with their grievances and concerns without hesitation, assuring them that they could seek redressal through the SHO, SDPO, SSP or DIG.

 

“We are here for the protection and welfare of the people. Whenever there are concerns, the public should come forward to us — be it the SHO, SDPO, SSP or even the DIG — for the redressal of their sufferings, issues and concerns,” he said.

 

The SSP stressed that effective policing depended on public support, adding that collective efforts were essential to maintaining peace and creating a safe environment for society.

 

He also appreciated the efforts of police personnel in solving theft cases and maintaining peace in the district. (JKNS)
