“Every unit of donated blood can become a source of hope for a patient in need. Voluntary blood donation is not only a social responsibility but also a meaningful humanitarian service. I appeal to all healthy and eligible personnel and citizens to come forward and donate blood voluntarily from time to time,” he said.

The Commandant also appreciated the officers and personnel who participated in the camp and encouraged them to continue spreading awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation.

The medical team from District Hospital, GMC Handwara conducted the blood collection process and provided necessary medical assistance to the donors.
