Srinagar, Oct 1 (JKNS): A blood donation camp was organised by the 132 Battalion of the CRPF at Lal Chowk, Srinagar, on the occasion of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, with active participation from CRPF personnel and civilians.
As per news agency JKNS, On the occasion of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, a Blood Donation Camp was organized on 01/10/2026 at F/132 BN, CRPF, Lal Chowk , Srinagar in collaboration with Paras Hospital, Srinagar.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Shri W.R. Josuah, Commandant-132 Bn, CRPF in the presence of Dr. Deep Shekhar Mohan, CMO(SG), , Officers, personnel of this Unit and civilians participated in the camp. Unit personnel including civilians donated Blood voluntarily during the Camp. The camp witnessed an enthusiastic and overwhelming response from the donors and medical staff of Paras Hospital, Srinagar. The initiative reflected the spirit of dedication, compassion and service to humanity demonstrated by the CRPF personnel not only in safe guarding the nation but also in contributing towards the welfare of society.
As a token of appreciation, the donors were provided with light refreshment & blood donor certificate for their valuable contribution. (JKNS)
