Karnah, Sept 19: A 30-year-old man from Gonipora Hayama in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district died following a suspected cardiac arrest in Karnah on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Noshad Ahmad War, son of Mohd Jamal War, a resident of War Mohalla, Gonipora Hayama, Kupwara.
According to preliminary information, Noshad Ahmad experienced sudden chest pain while at Nachayain in Karnah. He was subsequently taken to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Tangdhar for medical attention.
Upon arrival, doctors examined him and immediately initiated treatment. However, despite the efforts of the medical team, his condition could not be stabilised, and he was declared dead at the hospital.
The death is suspected to have been caused by a massive cardiac arrest, as per preliminary information.
