From September 5 to 10, the weather is expected to remain generally dry, with brief spells of rain or thundershowers possible at isolated places.

The MeT has forecast brief spells of rain and thundershowers at scattered places from September 11 to 15, with the possibility of brief intense showers at some locations.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has advised caution, stating that brief intense showers over localized areas on September 4 may trigger flash floods, mudslides and landslides.

Farmers, however, have been advised that they may continue harvesting and other agricultural operations while keeping local weather conditions in view. (JKNS)
