CRPF 163 Battalion Organises ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Programme Ahead of 80th Independence Day at Boys High School Qazigund

Qazigund, Aug 14 (JKNS): The CRPF 163 Battalion today organised a programme under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign at Government Boys High School, Qazigund, ahead of the 80th Independence Day celebrations. The programme was attended by Commandant 163 Battalion CRPF N.K. Singh, school staff, students and CRPF personnel.

The programme commenced with the National Anthem, ‘Jana Gana Mana’, followed by an interaction with students and participants.

Speaking on the occasion, Commandant N.K. Singh highlighted the significance of Independence Day and paid tribute to the sacrifices made by freedom fighters for the country’s independence. He said the primary objective of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is to promote patriotism among citizens, encourage respect for the National Flag and inspire every citizen to contribute towards the progress and prosperity of the nation.

The Commandant appealed to the youth to stay away from social evils and channel their energies towards education, constructive activities and nation-building. He said the Government of India is providing numerous opportunities for the development of youth and urged them to make full use of various welfare and development initiatives.

He also highlighted the CRPF’s Madadgar and Civic Action initiatives, saying that the force provides assistance to people, particularly those living in far-flung areas. He mentioned initiatives including free medical camps and other welfare activities and encouraged people to come forward and avail themselves of these facilities.

Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster Government Boys High School Qazigund Mushtaq Ahmad Ganie said that the freedom being celebrated today is the result of immense sacrifices made by freedom fighters and previous generations. He stressed that these sacrifices should never be forgotten and urged students to follow the path of good deeds and stay away from social evils.

He emphasised the importance of patriotism and responsible citizenship, urging the youth to develop a positive mindset and contribute towards the development of the country. He also noted the significant changes witnessed in Jammu and Kashmir in recent years, saying that the Union Territory is moving towards greater development and prosperity.

The Headmaster said the nation owes its freedom and security to the sacrifices of its brave hearts and urged students to remember their contribution while working towards a peaceful, prosperous and developed India.

The programme concluded with a message to students and youth to remain committed to education, patriotism, social responsibility and the vision of Viksit Bharat. (JKNS)
