Srinagar, July 9 (JKNS): A 35-year-old man died after suffering an electric shock near Aam Bab Ziyarat in the Maloora area of HMT on Thursday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the victim received an electric shock under circumstances that are being ascertained and was immediately shifted to JVC Hospital, Bemina.
However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Parvaiz Ahmad Parray (35), son of Habibullah Parray, a resident of Allahipora, Wagoora, Kreeri in Baramulla district.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. (JKNS)
