Srinagar, Jun 24 (JKNS): A non-local labourer sustained critical injuries after falling from a height while working at Naikh-Bagh area of Nowgam in Srinagar on Wednesday, officials said.
Official sources told news agency JKNS, the injured labourer was immediately shifted to Ujala Hospital for treatment and was later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar in view of the seriousness of his injuries.
The injured has been identified as Shamshad 35-year-old, a resident of Bihar presently residing at Natipora, Srinagar.
The condition of the injured labourer is stated to be critical and he is undergoing treatment at SMHS Hospital.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
