Doda, Jun 24 (JKNS): Two persons lost tgeir lives while three others sustained injuries after a passenger vehicle met with an accident in Malhori area of Assar tehsil in Doda district on Wednesday, officials said.
Reports reaching news agency JKNS stated, the accident occurred at around 6:30 PM when a Dizaryar vehicle bearing registration number JK02DB-6037 met with an accident at Malhori.
They said two persons died on the spot in the mishap, while three others suffered injuries.
Soon after the incident, local police and members of the public rushed to the spot and launched rescue operations. The injured were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, while further details, including the identities of the deceased and injured. (JKNS)
