Jammu, May 19 (JKNS): A suspicious balloon believed to have originated from across the border was recovered from Raipur area of Jammu on Tuesday, officials said.
Official sources told news agency JKNS, an ex-serviceman noticed the suspicious balloon lying in the area and immediately informed authorities about it.
Following the information, the balloon was recovered and later handed over to Police Post Chinnor for further examination and necessary action.
Officials said the balloon is suspected to have drifted from across the border, while police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated further investigation. (JKNS)
