The case originated from a complaint by residents of Pulwama, alleging that the accused fraudulently obtained lakhs of rupees on the pretext of securing government jobs for the children and relatives of complainants,.

Investigations revealed that the accused, acting in criminal conspiracy, posed as influential officials and issued forged appointment orders purportedly from the Forest Department, later confirmed to be fake. Payments were allegedly taken in cash under the guise of “backdoor entry.”

The challan has been presented before the Hon’ble competent court for judicial determination.
The general public is advised to remain vigilant against fraudsters and report any such incidents directly to SSP SCW Kashmir (Crime Branch J&K). If you have been a victim of fraud, you may also send your complaint to the official email: [email protected] (JKNS)
