Jammu, Mar 30 (JKNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday made a visit to the Legislative Assembly, marking her first presence in the House since 2018.
According to news agency JKNS, Former CM, Mufti was seen sitting in the Speaker’s gallery during the ongoing proceedings of the Assembly.
Her visit comes after nearly seven years, following the fall of her government in 2018 when the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pulled out of the coalition, leading to its collapse.
Her appearance in the Assembly complex attracted attention, as it comes after significant political developments in 2018, which reshaped the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir, analysts said. (JKNS)
