Anantnag, Mar 27 (JKNS): In a continued effort to combat substance abuse, Anantnag Police on Friday organised a drug awareness rally in the district, drawing active participation from students, civil society members and officials.

As per news agency JKNS, Anantnag Police organised a Drug Awareness Rally in the district.

The rally commenced from Wazir Bagh Anantnag, proceeded to Lal Chowk Anantnag, and culminated back at Wazir Bagh.

The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various schools across District Anantnag, members of civil society, and senior police officers and officials. Participants carried placards and raised slogans highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of a drug-free society.

Senior officers of Anantnag Police, while addressing the participants, emphasized the growing concern of substance abuse and reiterated the commitment of the police to eradicate this menace from society. (JKNS)
