Avalanche Warning Issued for North Kashmir; Medium Risk Likely Above 2,600 Metres

Srinagar, Mar 20 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Disaster Management Authority (JKUTDMA) on Friday issued an avalanche warning for the higher reaches of North Kashmir.

According to officials as per news agency JKNS, Baramulla and Kupwara districts have been placed under alert, with areas situated above 2,600 metres expected to witness medium avalanche risk over the next 24 hours.
