Fire Guts Two-Storey Shop in Ajas Charwan, Bandipora; Owner Seeks Financial Assistance

Bandipora, Jan 30 (JKNS): A devastating fire guts two story shops in the Ajas Charwan area of Bandipora district in the early morning hours on Friday, reducing a two-storey shop owned by Noor Zaman Khan to ashes.

Speaking to media as per news agency JKNS, the affected shop owner said the fire erupted suddenly in the morning. By the time the flames were brought under control, the entire shop had been completely destroyed.

He stated that the shop was his only source of livelihood and that he had taken a loan in his and his wife’s name to run the business.

The affected family, along with local residents, has appealed to the concerned authorities to take note of the incident and provide financial assistance so that the victim can rebuild his business and restore his livelihood. (JKNS)
