Maharashtra Dy CM Ajit Pawar Among 5 Killed in Baramati Aircraft Crash

Pune, Jan 28 (JKNS): Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and four other persons lost their lives after an aircraft crash-landed at Baramati in Pune district on Wednesday, officials said.

As per news agency JKNS, Ajit Pawar was travelling in the aircraft along with two staff members, a personal security officer and an attendant, besides two crew members, including the Pilot in Command and the First Officer.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said that all five persons on board the aircraft were killed in the crash, with no survivors reported.

Soon after the incident, rescue and emergency teams rushed to the crash site and initiated relief operations.

The exact cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained and further details are awaited from authorities. (JKNS)
