SSB Brings Healthcare to Doorsteps: Free Medical Camp Benefits Over 180 Residents at Dalgate

Srinagar, Jan 10 (JKNS): In a people-centric outreach initiative, 10 Battalion SSB Batmaloo on Saturday organised a comprehensive medical camp at Drugjan Dalgate, Srinagar, in collaboration with Saving The Future (STF) NGO and Paras Health, Srinagar, providing free medical consultations, medicines and health awareness to the needy local population, reinforcing the force’s commitment to community welfare and public health.

As per news agency JKNS, 10 Bn SSB Batmaloo, Srinagar organised a Medical Camp in collaboration with Saving The Future(STF) NGO supported by Paras Health, Srinagar on 10-01-2026 at Drugjan Dalgate, Srinagar.

This medical camp was conducted with the purpose to provide essential medical services to the local needy population and to extend medical care to the residents of Drugjan Dalgate locality.

The camp offered a range of healthcare services, including general health check-ups, consultations, distribution of medicines, and health awareness programmes.

Dr. Arun Chaudhary, AC(MO) SSB and Dr. & Medical team of Paras Health, Srinagar checked more than 182 locals and also ensured that all attendees received comprehensive medical attention. The camp saw a large turnout from the local community, reflecting the residents’ trust and appreciation for such initiatives towards SSB.

Commandant, 10 Bn SSB expressed his commitment to continue such efforts in the future also to ensure the well-being of the people in the region. Further, he expressed his gratitude to Mr Junaid Sadaat, Chairman of Saving The Future (NGO), for generously providing the venue for the success of the medical camp. (JKNS)
