From Karnah to distant audiences, he devoted his life to the preservation and promotion of Pahari identity, culture, and aspirations. Alongside his artistic journey, he remained a strong and consistent voice for the rights and recognition of the Pahari Ethnic Tribe, inspiring generations through his struggle and creativity.

On the occasion, MLA Karnah Peerzada Sayeed, Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad, Mohd Ismail Khan, Haji Tasleem Mir, along with members of the civil society, offered rich tributes and heartfelt prayers, remembering Noor Ahmed Qureshi as not only a cultural icon but also a symbol of Pahari consciousness and pride.

Although he is no longer with us physically, his songs, poetry, and message continue to live on in every note of Pahari folk music and in every voice that carries the language forward. Family members, friends, and admirers prayed for his eternal peace, seeking Allah’s mercy and the highest place for him in Jannat.

May his legacy continue to guide and inspire future generations. (JKNS)
