Srinagar, Dec 7 (KNC): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday praised the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) for commissioning 125 new infrastructure projects in a single day, calling it a remarkable milestone that reflects India’s vision of a Viksit Bharat and its firm resolve to reinforce border connectivity.
Addressing the inaugural event, Singh, as per news agency JKNS said about the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, that the Armed Forces delivered an exceptionally precise response under Operation Sindoor.
“When our forces acted against the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam and carried out Operation Sindoor with accuracy, the world witnessed the fate of those terrorists,” Singh stated.
He emphasised that despite having the capacity to escalate the response, the forces chose a path of courage combined with restraint. “We could have done far more, but our troops showed discipline and acted only to the extent required,” he said.
Singh further highlighted that the effectiveness of the operation was strengthened by improved border connectivity and timely logistical support to forward posts, enabling troops to move with speed and precision.
“The success of the operation was due to robust infrastructure and efficient logistics, which empowered our forces to respond decisively,” Singh added. (JKNS
