Srinagar, Dec 7 (JKNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday paid rich tributes to the country’s soldiers and martyrs on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day, urging people to contribute generously towards the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund to support the welfare of serving personnel, veterans, and their families.
The Office of the J&K Lieutenant Governor, in a post on X as per news agency JKNS, said the day serves as a reminder of the supreme sacrifices made by the nation’s bravehearts in safeguarding India’s sovereignty.
The post reads, “On Armed Forces Flag Day, I extend heartfelt gratitude to our valiant Armed Forces personnel and martyrs for their supreme sacrifice and service to the nation. Let’s donate generously to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund to ensure the welfare and dignity of our brave soldiers and their families.” (JKNS)
