Budgam, Nov 26 (JKNS): District Police Budgam today marked Constitution Day 2025 with solemnity, patriotic zeal, and a renewed commitment to uphold the ideals enshrined in the Constitution of India. Ceremonies were held across all police establishments of the district, reflecting the force’s dedication to constitutional values and democratic responsibilities.
In a statement issued here to news agency JKNS reads, The central event took place at District Police Lines Budgam, where SSP Budgam Shri Nikhil Borkar (IPS), read the preamble of the constitution and administered a pledge to uphold the fundamental duties to officers and officials of Budgam Police.
In his address, SSP Budgam highlighted the enduring relevance of the Constitution and urged all personnel to uphold justice, liberty, equality, and integrity in every aspect of policing. He stressed that every police officer must ensure that the constitutional mandate is upheld in letter and spirit while serving the public.
Preamble reading ceremonies were also conducted simultaneously at all Police Stations, Posts, and Units across the district, reaffirming the collective resolve of Budgam Police to protect the core values that guide the nation.
