Srinagar Police Observes Constitution Day Across All Establishments

Srinagar, Nov 26 (JKNS): Srinagar Police organized Constitution Day across all establishments to mark the completion of 75 years of the Constitution of India.

In a statement issued here to news agency JKNS, The observance aimed to reinforce the Constitutional values that guide policing and public service.

At the District Police Office (DPO) Srinagar, IGP Kashmir Sh. V. K. Birdi, IPS led the officers and officials in the reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of India.
Senior officers including DIG CKR Shri Rajiv Pandey,IPS, SSP Srinagar Dr. G. V. Sundeep Chakravarthy,IPS and other officers of District Police Srinagar were also present on the occasion.

The gathering collectively reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the constitutional principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity while performing their professional duties.

The reading of the Preamble outlines the fundamental values and vision on which the nation is built. By emphasizing justice—social, economic and political along with liberty, equality, and fraternity, the Preamble serves as a moral compass for all institutions, including the Police.

Reading the Preamble on Constitution Day symbolizes a renewed pledge by Jammu & Kashmir Police to protect citizens’ rights, uphold the rule of law, and work towards the unity and integrity of the Nation. (JKNS)
