As a gesture of care and compassion, the cadets also presented warm clothes to the senior citizens, spreading warmth and smiles on the occasion.

Dr. Dinesh Gupta, Secretary of the Home for the Aged & Infirm, appreciated the initiative and motivated the cadets to continue engaging in such community service activities. He emphasized the importance of spending time with aged people, who often seek companionship and emotional support.

Speaking on the occasion, the Commanding Officer of 8 J&K Girls Battalion highlighted that such visits form an integral part of the NCC curriculum, as they instill the values of empathy, social responsibility, and service to humanity among cadets.
The visit not only provided the cadets with a valuable learning experience but also reinforced the spirit of Vande Mataram love, respect, and dedication to the nation and its people. (JKNS)
