Srinagar, Sept 20 (JKNS): The Army on Friday evening said its troops established contact with terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Kishtwar district.
In a post on X, White Knight Corps as per news agency JKNS wrote, alert troops engaged terrorists in the general area of Kishtwar at around 8 pm, leading to an exchange of fire.
The army statement added that the encounter site falls in the Doda–Udhampur border belt and the operation is still underway.
