Handwara, Sept 19 (JKNS): Handwara Police on Friday attached a residential house belonging to a drug peddler under the NDPS Act. An official told news agency JKNS that a single-storey house owned by Mohd Akbar Malik, son of Mohd Abdullah Malik, resident of Guloora Langate, was attached. He said the action was taken in connection with FIR No. 31/2022 registered under sections 08/20 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Handwara. Police said the drive against drug peddlers and their properties will continue to ensure the menace is curbed effectively in the area. (JKNS)
