Srinagar, Sept 1 (JKNS): An 18-year-old youth lost his life in a road traffic accident in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.
An official told news agency JKNS that the incident occurred in Kupwara when the motorcycle was hit by a Sumo vehicle, causing multiple injuries to the motorcyclist.
He was identified as identified as Arsalaan Ahmad Beigh, son of Gh. Nabi, resident of Lolab, Kupwara, he said.
He was immediately rushed to SDH D.H. Pora for treatment and later referred to SMHS hospital in a critical condition, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival by doctors, official said.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated. (JKNS)
