Reasi, Aug 23 (JKNS): One Person lost his life while two others were injured after a goods carrier vehicle met with an accident at Malai Nallah, Mahore, Reasi on Saturday night.
An official told news agency JKNS that the goods carrier, with registration number JK20B 9578, was on its way to Mahore when it was suddenly caught in a landslide, late last night between 2 and 3 a.m.
The driver, identified as Shabaz Ahmed, son of Bashir Ahmed, from Jamlan, Mahore, was shifted PHC Dharmari where from he was reffered to Reasi hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Two other individuals were injured in the accident, Javed, son of Mohd Hussain from Kansooli, Mahore, and Abdul Ghani. Javed was shifted to PHC Dharmari, while Abdul Ghani was taken to PHC Mahore, official said.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started. (JKNS)
