Block Kakapora Left Without BDO; Umer Jaan Urges Minister to Intervene Immediately

Pulwama, August 8: It is a matter of serious concern that Block Kakapora continues to remain without a designated Block Development Officer (BDO) for an extended period.

This administrative void has paralyzed developmental activities, delayed implementation of government schemes, and left local residents struggling with routine public service delivery.

The absence of a BDO in such a strategically important block reflects administrative apathy towards the grassroots level governance, which is completely unacceptable.

People of Kakapora are suffering due to a lack of direction, accountability, and timely redressal of grievances.

Umer Jaan, District President of the Indian National Congress (Pulwama), has strongly urged the Hon’ble Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj to take immediate note of this issue and ensure that a qualified and dedicated BDO is posted to Kakapora without further delay.

“This is not just about a vacant post – it’s about denying people their right to development and basic governance. I appeal to the Hon’ble Minister to intervene and resolve this matter urgently in the interest of the people,” said Umer Jaan.

Umer Jaan stands firmly with the people of Kakapora and will continue to raise their voice until proper administrative arrangements are restored.
