“Today marks a new beginning for the children of Madrasa Shah Hamdan. The world is moving digitally, and it is our duty to ensure that students in border areas have access to basic computer literacy,” said Mrs. Nagi.

The new lab is equipped with computers and essential learning software to teach basic computer operations, typing skills, internet literacy, and digital educational resources. Mufti Atta Ur Rehman, senior teacher at the madrasa, expressed gratitude, saying, “This inauguration has fulfilled a long-standing dream. This lab will open a new world for our children. We are thankful to Rouble madam and the Indian Army for this gift.”

Meanwhile, at Madrasa Roza Tul Salihat Baghbella, the Foundation, in collaboration with the Indian Army, established a Skill Development Centre equipped with 10 sewing machines to train girls and women in tailoring and stitching for livelihood support and self-reliance. Teachers and students expressed heartfelt thanks, noting how this initiative would enable them to support their families in the future.

“This will help our students learn a skill that can sustain them throughout life,” said one teacher, while students thanked the Foundation and the Army for giving them hope and opportunity.

Community leaders welcomed both initiatives, stating they are crucial to bridge the gap in education, digital literacy, and skill development in border villages.

The Rouble Nagi Art Foundation continues to work across India for art-based education, skill development, women empowerment, sanitation, and community beautification. In Kashmir, her initiatives like wall art campaigns, skill centres, and computer labs are transforming lives and providing dignity to underprivileged communities.

These inaugurations, with the support of the Indian Army, mark a new chapter for Tangdar and Baghbella, ensuring that students and women remain connected with technological advancements and vocational skills along with their moral and religious education.
