Health Dept Forms Panel to Probe BMO Gool Over Harassment, Extortion Allegations

Three-Member Committee Asked to Submit Report Within 10 Days

Jammu: The Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, has constituted a three-member enquiry committee to investigate serious allegations of harassment, extortion, and salary withholding against the Block Medical Officer (BMO) of Gool.

As per the order issued by Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar as per news agency JKNS, the committee will be headed by Dr Sanjay Kumar Sharma, Deputy Director (Dentistry). The other two members include Dr Kamal Jee Zadoo, Chief Medical Officer Ramban, and Shashi Paul, Assistant Accounts Officer at the Directorate.

The formation of the committee follows multiple complaints and growing concern over the alleged misconduct of the BMO, which has prompted the department to take immediate action. (JKNS)
