New Delhi: Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, who led India’s response during Operation Sindoor, has been appointed as the Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Strategy). He will continue to serve as DGMO.
The Defence Ministry said the post oversees key operations and intelligence functions. Lt Gen Ghai was also recently awarded the Uttam Yudh Seva Medal for distinguished service. (JKNS)
