New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the 10th governing council meeting of NITI Aayog here on Saturday.

This year’s theme is ‘Developed States for Developed India @2047’.

The meeting is in line with his commitment to all states to come together and form ‘Team India’ for a developed India, a statement said. The governing council meeting will discuss the developed state vision for a developed India by 2047.

The 10th meeting of the governing council will provide a platform to the Centre, states and Union Territories to deliberate on the development challenges faced by the country and evolve a consensus on how states can become the cornerstone for making the country a developed nation.

The meeting will also deliberate on measures to promote entrepreneurship, enhance skills and create sustainable employment opportunities across the country.

The Governing Council of NITI Aayog will also focus on building consensus on the subjects of the 4th National Conference of Chief Secretaries to be held during December 13-14, 2024.

Secretaries of the Union government and chief secretaries of all states and Union Territories will be part of the consultation process to define and suggest a roadmap for the agenda of ‘Vikash Bharat@2047’.

The 10th governing council meeting will be attended by chief ministers and lieutenant governors, Union ministers and vice-chairman, members and CEOs of NITI Aayog.
