Poonch : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Mohammad Sayeed and Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Rakesh Sharma on Saturday visited the sacred Ziyarat of Hazrat Sain Baba Miran Baksh (R.A) at Kopra Guntrian, to assess provision of civic amenities ahead of Annual Urs.
The officers offered du’a at the shrine and reviewed the arrangements put in place for the annual religious gathering. Their visit aimed to ensure that the devotees arriving to pay their respects could do so in a peaceful, clean, and well-managed environment.
Accompanying the officers were Tehsildar Haveli and Block Development Officer NSSB, who also assessed the on ground preparations and extended departmental support where required.
The team took a comprehensive review of various facilities including crowd control, traffic regulation, public convenience, and overall sanitation. Special emphasis has been placed on maintaining hygiene and ensuring the availability of basic civic amenities in coordination with multiple departments.
Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal, the District Administration has extended support to make the Urs congregation smooth and dignified. Adequate security arrangements and deployment of staff have been ensured for the comfort and safety of the devotees.
The visiting officers also interacted with members of the local community and devotees, assuring them that the administration has continued commitment to facilitating religious events with respect and efficiency.
